Virtual Tours and panoramic pictures : réalisation and creation in Belgium (Brabant - Brussels)

By use of panoramic pictures, a virtual visit can show you a place just as if you were there! Virtual reality visits can be of 180 of 360 degrees of rotation, and can be of cylindric or spherical projection. In spherical projections, you get a view, not only around you, but also at the ground and of the sky (or ceiling).

Now try to imagine the magic of combining the aerial shots with the panoramas...This became possible by constantly improving the technique for taking panoramas. Check it out, there are two examples of this in the list below, one is the 'Labyrinthe des Tennis' and the other one was realized for the NATO.

To be able to view the virtual reality visits present on this internet site, you need a Quicktime plugin, it can be found for free here. We are also able to provide the virtual visits in Macromedia Flash or Java (PTViewer) formats. One of my next projects is the creation of a huge interactive map of Brussels with a virtual tour of Brussels and surroundings. My new Gigapan head will surely help me a lot for it. If you have any suggestion of place to appear in it, don't hesitate !

NATO Flags
